It features a view of the Teton Range from Jackson Hole, the mountain range where the album was recorded and produced. In an interview conducted with Big Boy during the listening party for the album, West explained the title, which is a diminutive of his own name commonly used in his songs, by stating: "I believe ' ye ' is the most commonly used word in the Bible , [a] and in the Bible it means 'you. It went from Kanye, which means 'the only one,' to just Ye — just being a reflection of our good, our bad, our confused, everything.
